Introducing you GONTOR PUTRI The locations for both Gontor Putra & Gontor Putri were different: Gontor Putra was located at Kampung Baru Siman, Ponorog Gontor Putri was located at Sambirejo Matingan Ngawi Jawa Timur This was the Gontor Putri's builidng model. It was quite a big place, it was pretty like a village and it was complete with everything. Just like Gontor Putra, Gontor Putri had a place for vistiors to stay too. We stayed there for 4 days 3 nights but we could not manage to visit all of the places here. First night being here, we managed to meet these lovely students of Gontor Putri. They welcomed us happily even though they were actually busy with their examinations. That was how they studied at night, honestly it was a peaceful night. For this part, I would share about my third day here. And at the end of this post, I would list down my comments and views about this place and the students too. First of all, let me introduce this place. It was named as 'Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor' What is Pondok? Pondok is also known as Pondok Pesantren which means Islamic boarding schools. It is an Islamic educational institution that offers the teaching in classic Islamic style on another level training in Islamic knowledge. It is operated and managed by religious teachers or leaders, called 'Kyai' 'Kyai' is a person who is expert in Islamic knowledge.    Apart from speaking in Malay Indonesia language, the students of this Pondok are also able to speak in Arabic and English. السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I wanted to share about this place called Gontor where it had an Islamic Institute Some of you might had known it and some might not been heard about it. This was my journey with University friends and lecturers to Gontor. It was an amazing Study Trip where we visited both Institute for Male Student and another for Female Student. For this post, I would share how we went there from Day 1 until we arrived at Institute for Male Student. ___________________________________________________ Day 1 From Brunei, we flew with Royal Brunei Airline to Jakarta.
